Garfield Robertson
Radio Host
Garfield Robertson aka Johnny Rep aka EazyG, born in Kingston, Jamaica was the quintessential Jamaican boy. Always active, he played soccer, ran track and field, did swimming, and many other activities including scuba diving, acting, and ballroom dancing. After migrating to the US in 1988, he attended Hofstra University and played semi pro soccer in Long Island, NY. He moved to Connecticut in 1990, and after taking part in a series of plays, he finally got involved in radio when a friend invited him to be a cohost on her program at another radio station. He stayed there for a year, and opportunity knocked when he was invited to start his own show on another radio station. He created a fresh and open spectrum with his show The Eazy G Morning Show, bringing a varied approach with his two cohosts. His show touches on matters of life, love, health, and culture, invoking “old skool” and modern music as the nucleus of his show.
